What we liked
- + Guides and recipes walk beginners through creating and feeding a starter
- + 34oz glass jar gives ample room for the starter to double in size
- + Clear glass shows bubbles and rise so you know when it is active
Trade-offs
- - Printed guides are helpful at first but not much use once you gain experience
- - Few physical accessories beyond the jar itself are listed
